Roosfa Hashim

Roosfa Hashim is a distinguished biographer, renowned publisher, editor, and academician with a wealth of experience in the realm of publishing. Having authored numerous biographies of significant national figures, his literary contributions include Perjalanan Politik Abang Johari: Premier Sarawak (2024), Perjalanan Politik Khaled Nordin: Sebuah Biografi (2017), Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shukor Mahfar: Meredah Badai, Memimpin Transformasi (2015), and Mohd. Ghazali Abdul Rahman 1938-2007: Dari Mercu ke Mercu (2010). With a background as an editor at UKM Press and later as the Director of IIUM Press, he is currently serves as an academician at International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM). His scholarly endeavours extend beyond borders, as evidenced by his role as an Adjunct Professor at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Brunei.

Actively engaged in publishing initiatives within Malaysia, he contributes significantly to the Malaysian Scholarly Publishing Board (MAPIM). Internationally, he holds a position on the board of the International Union of Islamic Book Publishers (IUIBP), further cementing his influence and expertise in the global publishing community.
