The following are details on how our shipping and delivery processes are organized, including information on which couriers are used, delivery periods, and costs at Kawah Buku. Please note that all transactions and activities on our website are bound by our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Where do you deliver and how much does it cost?

We deliver nationwide and internationally! Figuratively speaking, we can deliver to almost anywhere in the world. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll even reach Mars!

Our shipping methods depend on the delivery location:

How long does delivery take?

Shipping times vary depending on the delivery location:

  • Peninsular Malaysia: 1-3 business days, with the exception of weekends and public holidays.
  • East Malaysia: 3-5 business days, with the exception of weekends and public holidays.
  • International: 3-5 weeks, with the exception of weekends and public holidays.

Please note that if you complete your order, checkout, and payment before 10 AM, the processing day will be counted as the same day. However, if you complete your order, checkout, and payment after 10 AM, the processing day will start on the next business day.

Why can’t I get Free Shipping?

The free shipping privilege only applies for orders shipped to addresses in Peninsular Malaysia, after it adheres to the minimum purchase required, which is equal to, or above RM150.

How can I get my shipping information?

Once your order has been processed and packed, we will send you an email containing a unique tracking number for you to keep track of the status of your parcel at all times. This tracking number will be sent to your registered email address. Please check your spam box/junk mail in case it’s there!

My items haven’t been received yet. What should I do?

If your items have still not arrived, don’t worry. You can track the transit status of your order by clicking Track My Order or directly going to the tracking page of the respective courier.

My order is not delivered/missing. I want a refund!

If this does happen, kindly email us your order detail information at Information required:

  • Order ID number
  • Customer’s name
  • Customer’s contact number and email

We will assist in checking the status of your parcel and claim the refund from the respective courier services which we deployed. The process of refunding will take about 2 weeks, however, we realize that that is still quite a long time to wait, so we will try our very best to speed up the process as fast as possible.

I received my order, but one of the items is missing. What should I do?

If you received your order but one of the items is missing, please contact us by emailing the following information to

  • Order ID number
  • Customer’s name
  • Customer’s contact number and email

You must report the missing item within 2 weeks of receiving your parcel. If there is a mistaken item included, you will need to ship the items back to us. We will do our best to provide you with the complete order as soon as possible. If you prefer a refund, the process will take approximately 2 weeks.

Where should I ship my order to?

You may choose to ship your order to either your home or office address for your convenience. However, please ensure that someone is available to receive the parcel at the delivery address. If the courier is unable to deliver the parcel after two attempts due to unavailability, the parcel will either be held at the nearest courier office or returned to us. We will not refund or exchange the order if it is returned to us due to customer unavailability. In such a case, the customer will bear the shipping cost for reshipment.

Can I self-collect?

Yes, we offer the option of self-collect (self-pickup) for orders made through our website. You may select the self-pickup option during the checkout process. Once the order has been confirmed, wait for the email that indicates your order is ready for pickup. Click here to learn how to get to our bookstore.

Can you expedite my delivery process?

Our delivery process is based on a First Come First Served basis. This means that we process and dispatch orders in the order that they are received. While we cannot guarantee expedited delivery, we do our best to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. If you need your order urgently, please contact us at and we will do our best to assist you. Additional fees may apply for expedited shipping.
