Free Shipping to Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan for Purchase over RM150 11 March 2019

UPDATE: This press release is no longer effective.

We have great news for all our customers from Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan regarding shipping rates to these regions. We resolved to resume our free shipping privilege for every online purchase over RM150 to these regions, effective March 10, 2019.

Our decision to deliberately put a halt to free shipping privileges to Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan was mainly caused by the hikes in shipping fees due to the re-introduction of the Sales and Services Tax (SST) starting on September 1, 2018.

Customers are advised to choose the FREE SHIPPING option before the payment is made to enjoy this benefit. However, customers should be aware that all FREE SHIPPING items will be shipped by POSLAJU only, and the GDex options are not available for this benefit, should they opt for the latter.

Apart from that, customers from Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan will also notice the shipping rates to these regions are similar to what is being charged to our customers from Peninsular Malaysia.

These are some changes in shipping rates nationwide:

For shipping to all regions nationwide, the parcel with less than 1 kg in weight will cost RM8, and the next 1 kg will cost RM10.

For special delivery of our encyclopaedia set, specifically Ensiklopedia Dunia and Ensiklopedia Sejarah dan Kebudayaan Melayu, the shipping fee will be covered by Kawah Buku to all regions nationwide.

We value our customers’ understanding of the need for the change in shipping rates. We do share similar excitement and enjoyment regarding this new development, especially for our customers from Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan, who, we hope, will rejoice in this news.

It is in our policy to put transparency in all transactions made through our online store and give our best to serve our valued customers. All the information regarding the update on shipping rates will be announced through all our social media mediums.
