Bita Naghmeh-Abbaspour

Bita Naghmeh-Abbaspour is a former senior lecturer at the School of Languages, Literacies and Translation, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at International College, I-Shou University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. She has over 20 years of experience teaching translation in different institutes and universities. Her main areas of research are multiculturalism and cultural studies in translation (gender studies, post/colonial studies, etc.) as well as translation and discourse studies. She is an active researcher and has published widely in several peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of the European Society of Translation, as well as the International Association for Translation and Intercultural Studies.
