Floris van den Eijnde

Floris van den Eijnde obtained his PhD at the University of Utrecht in 2010 (Cult and Society in Early Athens). He excavated at the Athenian Agora and at Thorikos. He is currently employed as Assistant Professor in Ancient History at the Department of History and Art History of the University of Utrecht. His current research revolves around Early Iron Age and Archaic Athenian society. He is the editor, with J. H. Blok and R. Strootman, of the volume Feasting and Polis Institutions, and the main editor of the Brill series Cultural Interactions in the Mediterranean.
