Izawati Wook

Izawati Wook is an associate professor at the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. She is a holder of the Bachelor of Law and Master in Comparative Laws from International Islamic University Malaysia. She obtained her PhD at Victoria University, Melbourne in 2015. She was also admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor, High Court in Malaya in 2002. Her special interests are indigenous peoples and land rights in Malaysia, other jurisdictions, and international law.
