Kim Yoomi

Kim Yoomi is a lecturer at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and PhD at Universiti Malaya. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Malay Literature from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and an MA in International Area studies from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. From November 2011 until November 2014, she was a researcher at Korea Institute for International Economic Policy. The co-author of 50 Tahun Hubungan Malaysia-Korea Selatan (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Press, 2011), she has also published in Suvanabhumi, The Southeast Asian Review, e-Bangi, Regional Economic Focus, and many edited volumes. Her research focuses on the regional interdependence in East Asia, especially ASEAN’s relations with Korea; and economic cooperation relationship between ASEAN and Korea.
