Kobra Arasskhani

Kobra Arasskhani is a lecturer of translation studies at Islamic Azad University (IAU), Tehran, Iran. She is also a practicing translator and editor whose passion is to translate the language of the world. Arasskhani holds an MA degree in translation studies from IAU, South Branch, Tehran, and is currently a PhD candidate in Allameh Tabataba’i University in Tehran. For her MA thesis, she worked on semiotics and the translation of satire in chapter 7 of Gulliver’s Travels: A Voyage to Lilliput. She has been teaching and designing translation courses for more than 10 years and has translated numerous books and chapters from English to Persian and vice versa.
