Masnoon Bujang

Masnoon Bujang is Kuching-born and bred. Twelve years in IT in a utility company and a short stint with the Bakun Hydroelectric Dam project management team seemed sufficient experience to justify her training in Computing Science. Being involved in various NGO activities while bringing up her two children has been enriching and humbling. She believes in lifetime learning and education as the cornerstone of personal and societal growth. A seat on the Board of Management of her old secondary school keeps her in touch with the education system. She appreciates most genres of music, especially classical and jazz. In the fullness of time and at the right juncture, she will take up the cello as challenged by her daughter, Nadia.
