Norman Solomon

Norman Solomon lives in Oxford, England, and has been a member of the faculties of theology and Oriental studies at Oxford University since 1995, He was born in Cardiff, South Wales, in 1933 and educated there and at the University of Cambridge. He has practiced as a rabbi in Orthodox congregations in England and, in 1983, founded the Centre for the Study of Judaism and Jewish-Christian Relations in Birmingham, England, which he directed until 1994. He is the author of several books, a keen musician, and has completed the London and New York marathons.
