Taizoon Hyder Tyebkhan

Taizoon Hyder Tyebkhan graduated with a Bachelor of Management (Hons) and an MBA (Distinction) from USM. Taizoon is involved in the industrial hardware and tools business and also in textiles, and together with his partner recently expanded the hardware business to Uganda. Taizoon is currently the National Vice President of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry Malaysia (FICCIM) and the Hon. Treasurer of Majlis Dato’ Dato’ Negeri Pulau Pinang. He is the Past President of the Malaysian Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Penang; Past Chairman of the Penang Joint Chambers of Commerce; Past President of the Penang Gujarati Association; and a former Deputy President of Persatuan Alumni USM. He has been active in many other societies and has sat on State committees relating to trade and commerce, among others. Taizoon is married to Memunah Tyebbhoy, and they have two children.
