Thomas K. Heebøll-Holm

Thomas K. Heebøll-Holm received his PhD in 2011 at the University of Copenhagen for a thesis on Anglo-French piracy from (published in 2013 as Ports, Piracy and Maritime War: Piracy in the English Channel and the Atlantic, c. 1280–c. 1330). Since 2012 he is director of the project ‘Danish Historical Writing before 1225. He is current research interests includes medieval piracy, Franco-Danish and Anglo-Danish relations in the Middle Ages, knighthood, and the history of emotions in the Middle Ages.
