Zanariah Hussein

Zanariah Hussein is a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist, currently the Head of the Medical Endocrinology Unit at the Endocrine Institute Hospital Putrajaya and immediate Past Head of the Endocrinology Subspecialty Service of the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH). She is active in undergraduate, postgraduate and fellowship teaching and training. Her areas of clinical and research interest are diabetes and ramadan, diabetes technology and adrenal and neuroendocrine tumours. She is the Past President of the Malaysian Endocrine and Metabolic Society (MEMS) from 2016 to 2020. She is a member of the Advisory Boards for the National Diabetes Institute (NADI) and the Malaysian Diabetes Educator Society (MDES). She has recently been elected as a member of the Malaysian Medical Council from 2024 to 2027.
